how would these compare to say the Dunlop 211 GP's with their NTEC technology??? I just went thru a set of those and loved the grip they provided, but the price is roughly 140.00 more per set. Just wondering how the the Bridgestones would compare to the dunlops.

FYI, i have also ran the Michlin Pilot race and they were also good, but i liked the Dunlops better, and have considered trying the Stones, but not sure about how they compare. I really like the security of the Dunlops and have considered buying another set but if I could get the same type of grip/duration from something a little cheaper i would consider trying the stones.

sorry, not trying to thread jack, or start a tire brand war, just courious if anyone could has tried both and could give some feed back.

Let me introduce my self, I am a motorcycle racer since 1998 and in 2002 almost won the CCS Florida Regional Championship (finish second cause a broken collar bone) I tried all the tires. Started on Dunlops follow by Michelins and fell in love with Pirellis from Leon, all the tires looked good but I felt better on the Corsas. Now I am a Bridgestone Distributor and we love these tires. All the race tires are similar in grip and durability, the key is to set up the tires with the right pressure and right type of tire for that day (type of surface and track temp conditions) , suspension set-up and size of it. The riding style also have a lot to do, for example if you are layed back on the brakes vs. aggressive the difference means a lot.
The only thing I know Bridgestone are the choice of FORMULA 1 and For MOTO GP based on that I will say the New BT003 has the latest in design and I don't believe Bridgestone will launch a non effort tire. If you check Championships AMA Superbikes runs on Dunlops but the other Associations don't.
At the end is What you feel comfortable w Bridgestones or others...
You choose. Good look.
