| pronounced: sehbas, as in sebas....tian | A Ninja 250 Track day? Is there a CC limit on getting on the track (pbir for example)? Also, if there is not, is it not advisable (sp) to convert my ninja 250 to a track bike? I bought a zx7r and that's my new daily driver but until I get REALLY confortable with it, I don't want to take it to the track. My 250 is just sitting idle and I thought it might be a good idea to get some track time on it... any advice is greatly appreciated |

You can easily ride a 250 on the track, the only problem would be top speed, and that is a maybe anyway. If you are on a track with some longer straights you'll be out motored, and the bigger bikes will have faster closing speeds. But once you get used to it, you shoud have no problem, and have a blast riding on the track...

But you would probabaly be a little more confortable out there if your 250 was a 2-stroke versus a 4 stroke..... But again, either one should be fine... ![]() Before I ran into financail problems, I was planning on keeping my 250VTR, and turning it into a track bike... But sh!t happens, and we move on.... ![]() At least I got my R6.... Anyways... GOOD LUCK!!! |
