I figured that this post should go here. I went to motorsports of Ft Lauderdale to buy a new 600rr.

The salesman did his job and answered any questions that I had accuratly. However the finance lady is crazy. I know what my credit score is. Its in the 680's. "I have a credit card that shows me any changes to my credit score on all 3 agencies (monthly)".

I was quoted 17.9% through HSBC there, and 15.9% though Honda credit. With 2k down, WTF. I told her that I thought that was outragous. She told me that it was a merical that she got me approved. "I just bought a car not too long ago and was told "Your gold get whatever you want" at the toyota dealership".

So I asked them what my credit score came back as and they told me 615. I told them that Their system is wrong. So the sales buy went back to finance, and then said Oh you are right your score is 681.

After talking to the Finance lady she got an attitude and gave me a speach on how Bikes are a luxury item and I'm lucky I even got approved, and told me that If I want a bike I will be paying at least 15%.

So I called my bank and they ran my credit and approved me for a loan at 6.5%.

After that I saw on honda.com that they had the $99 a month and 3.9% special on anything up to 10k, and 0 down. I called Motorsports of Fort Lauderdale, and the finance lady told me that I need a credit score of 780+ to qualify for that program.

So I went to Rick Case, they ran my credit - immediatly approved me for the 3.9% 99 dollars a month special.

I called Motorsports of Fort Lauderdale, and asked them why they couldnt do that for me and Rick Case can - They even use the same place Honda Credit.

The finance lady wouldnt talk to me, but had the sales guy call me back and tell me that they may be able to do the same thing that Rick Case offered. I told the sales guy that their Bitch of a Finance lady is causting them deals, and that I would go smack her around for causing me to lose commission if I were him, and tell her to stop trying to screw people over or make money on the side with BS interest rates.

I put 2.5k down at Rick Case and drove away with a new 600RR at 3.9% the same day.

So if anyone is going to Finance a bike. DONT DO IT AT MotorSports of Fort Lauderdale. I will never buy anything there after that experience.

I got mine at Rick Case too without any complaints (for the sale, that is... don't ever take your bike to their service dept!!! ). But I too already had my financing worked out ahead of time and walked in with a blank check that stated on the front 'not valid for more than $xxxx.xx amount' (the max I wanted to pay), so the only thing I had to haggle was the price and once I got that where I wanted it, gave them the check and did all the paperwork, and I was out the door with my new bike. Having the check that states it's not valid for any more than I wanted to pay was a great haggling tool to get the price I wanted!

As for service, I go to Ray at Cycle Race Tek. Nice people, great service... never a problem with them

Just under $8500.00 OTD. I probably could have gotten it down a bit lower, or maybe an extended warranty or lojack or something, but I SUCK hardcore at haggling (especially since this was the first "new" vehicle I've ever purchased in my life), but I did get it down about $700 less than he was originally quoting my OTD. That's alright though I was just happy it was down in my range so I took it. It was a display model on the showroom floor (for a year and 2 months approx) so it had a dent in the pipe, which I got a discount for too

mine was $8900 with the extended warrenty, an adjustable lowering kit and installation, up to $250 towards a helmet, fram sliders - installed, and a jacket of my choise.

I know a good sales guy over there who will work with you. He did a good job and he is a 600rr and 1000rr owner. If you want his info PM me. I'll give you his cell.
