| So, are you guys bangin', or what? | 2002 sv650 ok, this is to test the waters here. Up for sale is Keleko's bike. you guys know the history. If not, he was thrown from the bike to an untimely demise at the hands of gravity. enough with that. teh bike needs the following: brake lever brake pedal (possible fix) front master cylinder shift lever rear set mount bracket (the shift assembly is fine) turn signals all around (some could be remountable, i havent investigated that much) right side clip on. the bike starts up fine. it has 27k miles on it. there is some rash on all the plastics, but they are mainly intact. Pics will follow soon. Im asking approximately 2k for the bike. all offers considered. any pros let me know if you think its worth it to invest the money and time into the parts to get a better sale price. its for his parents, if youre wondering. |

That bike is worth about $2500 in decent shape. In Pristine shape it would be a miracle to get $3k. Point is, unless you find a noob with $2k burning a hole in their pocket and no other options I doubt you'll move it at that price. And NO, with rashed plastics and a known history, it would NOT be a wise decision to dump money into the bike. The only reason to do so would be to make it more sale-worthy. It will not increase the profit margin and may actually reduce it.

ill get with you on that. Curb, different body styles on the plastics, right? thwe clipons, rearsets etc should work, no? and id like to point out, the bike didnt kill keleko, keleko killed keleko. he just happened to do it riding this bike. | |

| shit stirrer extrordinaire | Re: 2002 sv650 they changed everything. the master cylinder and the brake lever might work, the brake pedal might be able to work as well. but i'm pretty sure the rear set mount wont fit if i remember correctly and obviously the plastics and signals wont work |
