I learned a few things since its been about 15 years since I have been there

1. All I need is one of those kill switches with a lanyard to run my bike.

2. Those little 4 cyl turbo cars ain't shit. All I've been hearing about for the last 4 years is how those 4 cyl turbo cars can beat a bike. There was only 1 out there (out of about 50) that ran better than a 15 sec quarter

3. I hope I didn't look like such a DWEEB at the starting line when I ran Sportsman class

4. I am getting old

5. Those turboDiesel trucks with the computers that bump their horsepower up to 700-800 are still SLOW...and dirty

6. My bike runs a mid 10 sec quarter, but after watching a couple guys on liter bikes only running mid 11's, I'm wondering if I can even pull off a 12

7. 2 cars spilled oil on track, and one guy got hit with a bolt during a burnout which equaled about 1 and a half hours downtime (boring. I was there from 8:20 - 10:20 and only got to see each car run ONCE. I used to get a MINIMUM of 5-6 runs in, and that was too few. 2-3 runs ain't worth going.

8. I had forgotten about all the hotties walking around. There was even a hot blonde chick on a drag bike, Kawi I think.

You should have just waited untill tomorrow night at US27 lots more people running and cheaper.

Bring your vet to the track their are a couple of those dirty slow trucks that will whoop it...LOL

My vette runs a 15 stock, I would think that a truck with 700 horsepower should be able to beat it. But the one's i saw last night were only running 15's so it could be close

If they were only running 15's then they are stock or don't have much done to them. My truck is in the low to mid 14's with the ocasional high 13's some of the trucks that go out there are running 12's consistantly.

Tech is easy you pull up open the hood and they check for basics. I have been out there and could easily have gotten in 10 passes butI like to run about 4 or 5 times and watch other races.

You can use this website to help you convert the times they will probably be off by a couple of 10ths but close enough.
