2 clutch replacement ?s..

When putting a clutch back together, is the gasket enough or should I use something more when putting the cover back on? Should I use Loctite on the cover bolts?

The gasket is enough if your using a new one if your using the stock gasket then put some sealant to be safe, and I usually add a little locktight to the screws just for to be safe

Re: 2 clutch replacement ?s..

Clean the surface well, use a new factory gasket, no loctite is needed on the bolts

Re: 2 clutch replacement ?s..

no gasket sealer on new gasket, no locktite on clutch bolts. Avoid scrapping off old gasket with razor blade, and never use a air powered tool to remove old gasket. you want to keep the cover gasket surface mint .
