Hearing a racebike during an on-board video is one reason I joined my first race in 2001. Too infrequently did those chatty commentators cut to an on-board w/sound of Rossi, Doohan, Fogarty, Bayliss, et. al.

I do detect a slight bit of more menacing, barritone sexy fucking sound in the Yam, vs. the Honda.

that sound is pure music to my ears.although i have to say this year WSBK is way more exciting.maybe the new R-1 will sound similar with aftermarket exhaust.

Yeah. It was Sete G, who's now a Ducati development rider, and is going to come out of retirement I heard. Not sure if it's a rumor still, or just conjecture.

Riding like that takes extremely good physical conditioning.
