Most races you have Valentino or stoner going at it in million dollar bikes that have nothing to do with the stuff we ride, and thats why isle of man is the shit. Showroom bikes Going at it on a real course around an island 37 miles 4 times. I love all bikes and own a 1000rr, but the 2007 gsxr 1000 just destroyed the lap record by 3 miles an hour, I guess it's safe to say it's the best bike as off 2007. 1 mile an hour shy of the absolute superbike record, officials were so impressed by it that they took in the bike for scrutiny looking for cheating signs, took them 3 days and found nothing.

That was just the "Superstock race" where he had a speed of: 128.297mph

But McGuiness still owns the records with a speed of: A second lap speed of 130.354mph sent the HM Plant Honda rider into the record books once more and the win was his 13th victory in total.

That's real road racing.

Here's a vid of the NW200 in Ireland. Huge race also, but doesn't get as much press in the US.

yea there are enough series out there that SPEED should be bike races 24/7!!! :)
