Thats B.S. Someone's trying to scare you. SHOW me or DIRECT me to where it's officially written, that's all that matters. They already officially changed the tag law, which I already posted a thread about and I haven't heard any nonsense about this wheelie crap. Remember, traffic state statutes are STATE wide. Individual cities can not make up their own traffic laws.

most aftermarket exhaust's are illegal, unless they are DOT approved... now will a cop write you a ticket for having a yoshi on your bike... prolly not... but if you run a straight pipe... most likely, you will get a ticket

Re: Florida State Motorcycle Laws

I just bought a new HD Nightster, and the tag bracket folds back into the bike from the factory for some reason. Guess I might be in trouble for that one too.

Re: Florida State Motorcycle Laws

Wheres the updated statues on the vertical tag mount being legal again after june 16th, 2009???

The wheelie law is nothing big, just dont them where your not supposed to and call it a day!!
I just do the double take and pull it up. Its all the guys on i95 and us1 doing wheelies that killed it for all of us "dumbass's"

I read that too...AMA site or something. It just can't be something that flips up or can be hidden.

Lots of dealerships, espeically Harley got some $$$ outta that one ;c)

Re: Florida State Motorcycle Laws

Thanks man, I printed out a couple copy's cause I'm moving back to a vertical tag mount down on my swing arm once again even though the last time I had it on there I got pulled over for it. But I fought that ticket and got the cop suspended(long story). But I'm sick of being pulled over and always for no reason so this is my way of letting the officers think they have a upper hand in there traffic stop. So me moving back to this vertical tag mount on my swing arm is my way of entrapment LOL
