Individual cities can not make up their own traffic laws.
i know about the $6k for stunt , i thought it was $1k first time, and at the second is $6k and they will take your bike bye bye..

Re: Florida State Motorcycle Laws

Ha ha, yeah I had a buddy of mine have a big ticket handed to him a couple weeks back. Keep in mind hes no newb or anything, been riding for years and is over the hill if you catch my drift...But he was doing a wheelie on beeline going 96mph on radar. They gave him the $1,000 fine for the wheelie on top of a speeding ticket for going 96mph in a 65 posted zone, and last but not least got him for a improperly mounted tag which was $1200 LOL...All together just in tickets he said it was close to $3000 bucks and not to mention he got a written arrest and his bike got towed haha...Florida loves to strap all that they can when they catch you...In my friends case they him...To end this story nicely his wife took his key for the bike...He hasn't rode with me since LOL, I bet he'd want to beat my a$$ for posting this haha, jp

Re: Florida State Motorcycle Laws

My front wheel is always down. Not worth a 1000 dollar fine.. If I ever mess around like that it will be somewhere other cars won't/can't be.

Re: Florida State Motorcycle Laws

Yeah, I used to here and there leaving a stop light lift it up in first just to play around. Not any more, heck I barely wheelie my bike in less its because it has so much power lol. I can ride them out in 2nd and 3rd but there aren't to many places where 65-85mph wheelies are able to be done and beeline and i95 are just asking for something
