Scudman said you can get the synthetic stuff at Walmart. But I couldn't find the synthetic, just the regular oil

i bought some yesterday... at the walmart on flamingo and griffen... i saw it others too...

its a dark grey 1 gallon bottle.... 5w-30 rotella T synthetic.... right next to the regular rotellas in the white bottle.

Dark blue unless they changed the color in the last 3 weeks and it is 5w-40 if memory still working

Not too many oils out there that will hurt the engine. I have never used Royal Purple but I doubt that it will hurt the engine. If the cheap quality OEM
oil is OK then everything else should be good as well. The main difference is price and hype. Rotella has historical backing as many people have been using it and it is only $14/gal for full synthetic.

btw... how often do you change it?..... with mobil one extended performance oil.. i was going 5000miles... is it safe to do the same on the rotella?

5000, never would I go that long on any oil. I am a stickler for over changing my oil, I try to change every 1000 miles. That is me though, I know I over do it, but thats the way I play.
