The regular Rotella is also a good oil but I only use synthetic (5w-40) as it is only $6/gal more.

re: Car to motorcycle oil filters conversion

I've been using the Supertech (walmart) filters and Rotella oil for about 4 years on my bike now with about 20 or more track days as well. No problems at all.

re: Car to motorcycle oil filters conversion

I've been using car stuff since 1994, Rotella synthetic and Mazda RX-8 pure one filters on my 1000rr for a while now, and I've always been "HOME SAFE" nothing has blown up yet.

The Suzuki filter does not match any car filter that I am awere of. You need to buy Suzuki specific filters. BTW the Rotella is up to $20 at Wally World
