Stolen Bikes in Ft. Lauderdale (KTM 1290 Super Duke & KTM 690 Enduro R)

Hi guys,

long shot here but 2 KTMs from a friend of mine were stolen in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale.

Please keep an eye out for:

2015 KTM 1290 Super Duke black
2016 KTM 690 Enduro r (lots of farkles)
* baja designs headlights
* aftermarket skid plate
* aftermarket seat

Thankfully both bike were fully insured but as you might expect, he is pissed and feels violated.

Yeah, it blows. The 690 I don't think was even a month old.

They were taken from the apt complex where Mellow Mushroom is in Ft. Lauderdale.

Yeah I am in the neighborhood across the street. A lot of young people in those newly built condos/apartment. It's funny how they built those nice new condos and you go two streets to the west and across the train tracks and you can buy some crack at any corner. Good luck and I hope they are found.

Guinea pigs for gentrification. Own 2 bikes and live in an apartment in that area???

Sorry I hope I didn't sound like a dick... That really sucks for your friends, there are a lot of nice apartments in that area, but is also probably a target. I can't believe they don't have cameras or some sort of security??? They must.

Yeah I agree, Apt Complex is in a bad area. They look really nice but again, lots of shady people around.

Detectives reviewed the video cameras and the were able to identify a vehicle that entered the building and a few minutes later same vehicle exiting the building and a rider with one of the bikes following. Tags on vehicle were registered to a home in hialeah (probably stolen as well). They still have not reviewed ALL the footage because bikes were stolen in different days it seems. Between May 30th and June 6th.

My thoughts..... those bikes are already in a container making their voyage to South America.
