Dunlop vs. Bridgestone

Soooo, I am not yet an extreeeeme sportbiker, but am getting some great coaching from a friend in Tampa. Anyways, my Bridgestones were wearing out too fast since most of my miles are boring commuter miles versus the kickass riding I get to do with my friends up in Tampa... I just ordered some Dunlop RoadSmart tires to replace the Battlax tires I've been runnin' since day one.

Any feedback on this? I assume that the Dunlop RoadSmarts have a harder compound in the center for all those damn commuter miles, yet have the softer compound on the edges for the blessed days of riding on the lean....

Re: Dunlop vs. Bridgestone

The Roadsmarts will last a lot longer and handle pretty much anything short or a track day. Also about the best tire in the rain

Re: Dunlop vs. Bridgestone

I'm a Bridgestone guy and there's too many choices with Battlax.
Dunlops are good but not better that the Jap's tire manufacture.
