looking for my first bike - SoFlaSportbikes.com

Hey everybody. I'm looking for a sportbike for around $3,000-$4,000. Does anyone have any tips for me to find a good bike. I'm itching to start riding and i can't seem to find the right bike.

i got a friend selling a zzr 600 kawi he wants 4k bike has 6k mi.

i got another friend selling an 06 katana for 3500 that bike has 10 or 12 k mi.

Well first off, how much do you know about bikes? I'm going to guess not much, only because it's your first bike. I apologize if my assumption is incorrect.

First thing you should do is find someone who knows a bit more about bikes to agree to go look at bikes with you.

Buying a bike is like buying a car. There's a laundry list of specific things that I can list when it comes to buying your 1st bike, but if you don't know anything about bikes, you'd be better off bring a friends who knows what to look for along with you, right?

So just keep searching craigslist, cycletrader, forums, etc, to find ones that you like the look of and can afford. Then go check them out a buddy.
